1. Create a page on your blog for each of the following
Tapestry Elements:
A. Flash Fiction
B. Introduction
2. FLASH FICTION
A. On your Flash Fiction Page, write a piece of flash
fiction based on your Tapestry concept, using your two
fiction based on your Tapestry concept, using your two
quotations as your inspiration. Aim for no more than 300
words. This will serve as the starting point for the
development of your project. Revise and (self and peer)
edit until your piece is well written and complete.
B. Post a personal reflection following your flash fiction
in which you explain the significance of the piece you
have written in relation to the overall thematic focus.
3. INTRODUCTION: The introduction is a thoughtful reflection on the significance and implication of the thematic focus from your perspective. Here you are making some personal connections to the theme you have chosen. Because the introduction establishes both tone and context for the project, it needs to be carefully written, and it should be imaginative and innovative in its approach.
A. On your Introduction Page, identify your concept,
describe your purpose and explain the effect you hope
to create and convey to the audience. Feel free to ask any pertinent questions of the reader.
B. Use the following questions to help you with
this:What is your goal for the reader by the end of your
tapestry? What would you like to better understand about
the theme, or human behaviour and emotion?
THIS IS DUE BY MARCH 23
Based on the feedback you receive on this section of your tapestry, revise and repost then move on to STEP THREE.
